THIS IS HOW I SEE.

THIS IS MY ART.

My Story

I’ve had a passion for photography since I was in the seventh grade. My friends and I would scour websites and brainstorm ideas for our next photoshoot, inspired by the creative images we found on “weheartit” (similar to Pinterest).

As I entered college, I decided to pursue art and fashion with a concentration in photography, immersing myself in all aspects of the art form. I learned about composition, lighting, what inspired me and what made my heart flutter.

I would see life around me through a camera lens.

Through the failures, successes, and burn-outs, I have grown in many ways. After college, there were times where I almost sold my camera. I felt uninspired and not passionate about my art as I once was. I am thankful for a sweet friend of mine who encouraged me to pick my camera back up in the year 2021. In doing so, I found a new fire and passion for capturing moments and telling stories through my lens!

My Life

At 26 years old, I am the oldest of three sisters, living in the beautiful city of Detroit where I am our Communications Director at Motor City Church.

I love and adore Jesus so much. He is the One who gives life — the One who provides breath in my lungs. He gifted me with this love and eye for photo and He gets all the glory! It brings me great joy to see the beauty of His heart reflected in the people and places around me!

My Style

As an artist, I strive to create art that is authentic and genuine. I believe that art should evoke emotion and transport the viewer to that moment in time. Through a series of activities and prompts, I help my clients feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. This results in images that are natural and authentic, capturing candid moments that truly reflect my clients' personalities.

When you view my work, I want you to feel as if you are a part of the moment captured in the image. I want you to feel the emotion, hear the sounds, and experience the setting as if you were there.

As a photographer, there is nothing more satisfying than developing a unique and recognizable style. For me, it has always been important to create images that are not only beautiful but also instantly recognizable as my own. This is why I have spent years experimenting with different editing techniques and shooting styles until I finally found what works best for me.
